In June 2024 I had started drawing on the iPad again. This is one of my first drawings in Procreate, our clematis which had been flowering beautifully that spring.
In the first picture you can see the photo I used as a reference, with the drawing I was still working on beside it. Some of the petals already had their details, the rest still needed quite a bit of work.
I shared it on 21 June, not finished yet. A day later I posted the result with the words: “Right, that’s done. I’m leaving it alone for now.”
And for anyone who’s curious; I made 11296 little strokes for this drawing……
