I was sitting on the sofa, playing around with my iPad. I was trying out the ‘short hair’ brush in Procreate, just seeing what I could do with it.
In the video you can see me trying different shapes. One of the first is a triangle, which I draw hair over. Then I add some longer figures. Some of the little experiments stay alongside the others.
Further on, I start again with an egg shape and guide lines. I work on that figure a bit more, adding long strands at the bottom and a tuft on top. I spend quite a while on the eyes. You can see them changing, giving the figure a different expression each time.
At the end, I add ‘I’m being created’, with ‘I think’ underneath. This is still the rough draft. The different cards and other uses come afterwards.
‘Sending you a smile’ is one of the cards that came from this. I print it myself, and you can find it in my Etsy shop Marbleroads.
