The Waterpoort in Sneek, with the white bridge in front of it. I drew this in Procreate, using my own photo.
There is quite a lot to look at in the photo before you get to the Waterpoort. The boats are lined up in front of one another, and there is a car on the right too. In my drawing, the Waterpoort is much closer. The car is no longer there.
Here you can see the drawing before everything has been coloured in. The lines of the bridge are already there, but parts of the buildings are still white. There is also a branch hanging into the top right of the drawing.
In the finished version, that branch has gone. The roofs have more detail, and the little figure by the gate is back too. Not everything from the photo has made it into the drawing, but the place is still recognisable.
This drawing is available as a digital download in my Etsy shop, Marbleroads. You receive a file to have printed, rather than a physical print.
